1. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES:

Squash SA registration is required.
Photos taken by EJS at the tournament may be posted to EJS Facebook page and/or website. By entering this tournament you automatically consent to EJS using
any photos of you and your child unless otherwise advised to us in writing (email) to the Tournament Organiser below.

2. AGE GROUPS (YEAR OF BIRTH IN BRACKETS):
U/11 (2011 & later); U/13 (2009/10); U/14 (2008); U/16 (2006/07); U/19 (2003/04/05).
Age groups may be combined based on insufficient number of entries.
3. ENTRY FEE AND BANK DETAILS:
Entry fee: R330 (non-refundable / includes a R15.00 SA Schools Squash levy)

4. VENUES / DRAW / AVAILABILITY:
Venues: Boksburg Squash Club and Sunward Park Squash Club.
First round draw will be posted on http://www.easternsjrsquash.com by Thursday evening, 27th January at 19h00.
Draws must be checked for final venues and times at the start of the tournament.
Players must be available to start matches from 17h30 on Friday, 28th January 2022.
Play will end around 21h00 Friday, 18h00 Saturday, 14h00 Sunday followed by Prize giving.
Players NOT attending the prize giving will forfeit their prizes.
Players must be available for the entire DURATION of the tournament. No reschedules allowed.
Players are to ensure they are ready to play 30 MINUTES before the scheduled time of their match.
Arriving later than 10 minutes after the scheduled playing time will result in the player forfeiting the match.
FOLLOW-ON system applies. Players must go onto court immediately after the match prior to their scheduled match, regardless of published start time.
5. CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOUR:
Players are required to MARK and REFEREE matches (winner referees; loser marks) following their match or risk disqualification and/or disciplinary steps.
The 4 minute warm up and 90 second game break rule will be strictly monitored.
No parents/spectators are allowed to interfere with any marking or play.
No cheering or intimidation of players during and after play will be tolerated.
Players and spectators are expected to adhere and abide to the SA Squash Rules and Code of Conduct.
Instances of misconduct and bad behaviour will be severely sanctioned by EJS.
The decision of the tournament referee is final.
No shows, late withdrawals or not marking / refereeing may result in players being banned from entering future tournaments.
WSF dress code applies eg. No caps or baggies on court, no tights for girls.
Use of PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR in every match is COMPULSORY – including during warm up or social games. (No exceptions shall be made).
COVID safety regulations will apply.
